Jumping around

Write now: I loved the movie Jumper. I thought about how I could use this power and I decided that it is probably one of the best superpowers you could have. If I could teleport to anywhere that I want it would be amazing. I wouldn't have to worry about getting to a place on time, since I can just wait until there are 5 seconds left, and get there. For example, I could wake up a lot later and just teleport to school at 7:04. Another huge advantage is that I could get unlimited money. Just teleport to a bank, grab a handful of bags and get out of there before anyone noticed. With the money I could buy a house in some luxurious place, like the Hamptons in NY and just teleport to school. It would also be very good if whatever I am holding teleports with me. So I could wake up at 6:45, teleport my mom to work and then myself to school. It would also be very easy to go on vacations and come back. Also, doing menial things would be a lot easier. For example, say we have to go buy a chair for the living room. I could just teleport to the store, touch that chair, teleport back and the chair will come with me. And let's say that I'm doing a project on ancient Egypt. I could go there, take some pictures, talk to some experts and be back by supper. It would be incredible, and most of the problems that I could solve would help the world a lot.

High Books

Wow, is this guy high?


This is  probably the response that I will have when I'm starting to read a text that is more than 100 years old. You probably think this is silly, but I'm serious when I'm saying this. Just imagine someone saying this in the most high and stupid voice ever:
"Dude, I mean, dude, I am like a freakin' ninja. I travel like 6 billion miles every day. And me and my buddy Enkidu, we were like, superheros, man. We were like 9 feet tall, and, we were like gods, dude. We traveled for like a week, and then we found this mountain, man. We were like, duuuuuude, look at that mountain, man. Hey mountain, sup? And then we started having these funky dreams man, man. We saw like spirits and stuff. And we were like, duuuuuude. Are you a spirit. But the other would reply, no man. I'm, like sleeping. And then we got to this forest  place. There were, like, trees, EVERYWHERE. And we saw this demon thing and it, like, started chasing us, man. We, we started crying, 'cause the stupid man started chasing us. Then, this like, giant dude sent spirits to us, and they used, like winds or something. Then we killed the evil man, and we were like, yeahhhh!
*chuckles* I like pineapples."

This is what the fourth and fifth books of Gilgamesh looked like to me. And its not just this one. For example, The Iliad, Midsummer Night's Dream, The Bible. For me, the people that wrote the books were all a little bit crazy. The choice of  words, the gramatical style, basically all the components of a text are different than what we are used to today.
But don't get me wrong, I love when a text is different. For example, the Game of Thrones books have a VERY different way of writing than the Harry Potter series. And the GOT books are probably just as good as the HP ones. So to wrap things up, I am very surprised to see how much the style in which people write in has changed. I wonder how the style will be in a couple of decades.

1. It is Ferrari. This I can tell by the badge.
2. It is made for racing. I can tell this from the numbers on the side.
3. It is old. I think this because the design is very antique and retro.
